BOLT ON HEATING JACKETS

A heating jacket is used to insulate a valve as an alternative to double wall valves. This aluminum bolt on jacket that has a small heating chamber buried in aluminum. Stainless steel and other alloys are available. Other ratings, port configurations and materials are available.

The jackets are widely used in combination with our Vermeer Thermex International bolt on heating products. The principle of bolt on heating is to maintain a required temperature throughout your high viscosity processes such as sulfur or bitumen.

Bolt on jacktes is available for most valves such as ball, globe, plug, gate, butterfly, check and sampling valves. It is suitable for either manual or actuated valves. Vermeer Denver International can also design a bolt-on jacket for pumps and other process equipment.
