Climate change is a hot topic nowadays. Sustainability is of great value for our organisation. To achieve our corporate social responsibility goals, we have entered into an agreement with HIT Profit. The have complete a complete energy scan. On the basis of these scans, a list is drawn up with energy-saving measures recognized by the legislator. An example of such rapid saving is the replacement of all light sources for LED luminaires.

By implementing the HIT energy solution Vermeer’s corporate social responsibility has resulted in sigificant energy reduction and CO2 reduction at Vermeer’s factories in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. 

For the efforts, investments and actively informing our staff on environmental improvements we have received an official, by the Dutch law of environmental conservation approved certificate.
